Help Charging a battery for the first time? Samsung Tab S 10.5

Hello! Ive just bought new Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 !
So how to i need to charge battery for the first time? Should i go down to 5-15 % and then charge it up to 100%? Or should i go down until device its turns off and then charge it upp to 100 % ? Or there is another better method?

Good question.

Also, will the battery get damaged if the TAB is left on charge overnight?
In other words, is it OKAY to leave the charger ON even after full charge has been achieved?

Any device I've had, the initial charge has always been for a couple of hours.

And yes, it's perfectly safe to leave it charging overnight and leave it plugged in when it's reached full charge.

Tbh with li-ion batterys, as far as I'm concerned, there is no wrong way to use them and yeah it's fine to leave it on charge overnight.
The only bad thing AFAIK is to let it completely die but the phone should power down before that ever happens
As for the new battery, as long as its charged to 100% then run down till it dies at least once, that should calibrate the battery monitor/indicator
