Charging Cable

My son has a goophone and the charging cable broke. We tried using an official iPhone cable, but it drained the battery instead. Does anyone know if there is a place that sells 8-pin charging cables? I guess we have to avoid the real thing and need one that is compatible. Thanks!

I did try a search for "8-pin charging cables" and their were results for ebay and amazon. You might want to check it.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I've checked also and found these results, but I'm wondering if someone has experience with a goophone and found a charging cable that definitely worked.

It doesn't use micro-USB for charging? That's what fake iPhones normally have, same as other phones, with one fruity(real) exception.

No, it's definitely an 8-pin cable. That's what came with it. I'm thinking they just rigged a charging cable to work.
