Help charging cord issues

Hello all, just recieved the tablet today and the problem is that i can only use the stock charger... same issue that i had with my original transformer. Any way to get around this?

The transformer will only charge well on the standard charger that comes with it.
It will charge very, very slowly on a standard USB port, if the tablet is turned off,
but will take hours and hours (maybe days) to reach a full charge.
