Help charging home button issue

gotta problem, first put my phone on charger it waz completly dead... 5 minutes later it says its 100% charged wtf? I took it off the charger the red charging light stays on... also when I hit the hope button it dosent take me to the home screen it takes me too a blue screen with a x (close button ) at the top and a sound profile button, and now driving mode is randomly opening... any ideals I am stock and just recently installed spb shell any thoughts ??

There's an app on the Market, I think it's called Battery Calibration (or ReCalibration). That might solve the first problem.
