Help Charging issue, usb issue, picture issue haha

So my phone has pretty much been stellar since I got it...until yesterday. Yesterday it just decided to stop charging. I can get it to charge only if I hold the phone and cord a certain way. I've actually got a replacement coming since I've only had it two months, but I obviously want to make sure my pictures and everything will be backed up somewhere.

As the issue seems to be in the charging port, I can't connect the usb cable to my computer to transfer my pictures. I may look like an idiot asking this question, but as far as I can tell, the pictures are on the phone, not the SD card. Reason I'm thinking they're on the phone is because I took the SD card out and turned the phone on and the pictures were still showing up on the phone. It doesn't look like the kind of SD card I've put in my computer before so I didn't try to put them on the computer that way. What I'm wondering is, while I actually have a charge on it, can I transfer the pics to the card so I can just switch it to the new phone when it comes in? I've been playing around with it trying to see how I might be able to do that, but haven't figured it out. If not, how do i back up my pics...or am i gonna have to email it all or something...:(

Hope that makes sense haha

Your pics are hopefully just cached on your phone. Every camera app I have ever used stores the actual photos on the SD. Use a file explorer to check the SD for the pics. If you still can't find them, download Photobucket, sign up for a free account and upload your pics. Or just email them all to yourself.
Glad you seem to have a sense of humor about this :D

Haha I have a sense of humor now that I have a replacement on the way...I didn't so much on Friday when it died and wouldn't charge. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll see if I can find out if they're on there, or else upload the ones I'm really concerned about losing, just in case!

They are on the SD card. When your new phone arrives just swap the card over and the pictures will be there.
