Help charging issue !!

i m using an orignal LG charger came with my nexus 4 , Although my cord is not orignal , the problem is when i connected my charger it shows ac is connected but after a moments it shows USB is connected and thus it takes long time for charging ( like 4 or 5 hours ) , but when it shows AC is connected then it charges fast:( i know its not my cord problem becAUSE when i chArge with power bank it shows Ac is connected , thus it mAkes problem of my chARGER which is orignal :)

I think the cable is almost certainly the cause; it's false logic to believe that because it works with one charger it will work with all, because fast charging (ie "AC" detection) is achieved by a loopback which can be in the cable, the charger, or both. Additionally voltages differ and a low voltage will also cause the phone to abandon fast charging.

Try a different cable, and avoid using cheap cables that have too much resistance - causing a voltage drop - which of course could cause your problem if the output of the charger is towards the low end of the spec to begin with. For charger use I recommend you buy a short so-called "fast charge" cable, which has no data connection and heavier wiring to avoid exactly the scenario you appear to have.
