Help charging lights

no not the LED.. the screen lights up at random times.. Normally on charge overnight and a bit annoying when trying to sleep..

Oh that, I can sleep in broad daylight, the screen on a cellphone is not ever going to bother me.

Turn the phone over on its' face and quit worrying about it.

Another reason is, my cellphone is always in my T-shirt pocket. That way I can feel the vibrator a second or two before the Alarm Clock goes off.

I'm going to say "No" because if you will use the Settings Search feature and enter 'dis' you will be able to see all of the options relating to the Display screen.

None of those mention anything about preventing it from lighting up.

There is a way you can force the display to never come on at all. That is called "Private Mode" and the ON/OFF switch is to Double Tap the Power Button.

Try that for going to sleep. Double tap it and go to bed. Just remember to double tap it in the morning.

There is some setting in wallpaper, or display called Daydream, that plays colours etc when the phone is charging, other than, it's possible that whatever charger you are using is intermittently dropping the charge power. I have an adapter in my wall plug that has three outlets and 2 USB on the side, if I have my phone plugged into one of the USB and the wife plugs her iPad into the other, they will both alternate charge and not charging, weird, just not enough juice for both, but that causes my screen to go dark, then light up again when it thinks it has been unplugged. check to make sure you have no power fluctuation. I will get notifications when my screen is asleep, by sound, but nothing visual
