Help charging problem

hey! i have a samsung s3 mini. when i try to charge it it doesnt and sometimes it says charge without having it charging. Also sometimes it doesnt open. i dont know what is fault. Is it a device problem or is it caused by a virus? thanks!!!

No I don't believe it has anything to do with a virus, you should have your battery tested as if it's draining out quickly or not charging even when the charger is connected, chances are you have a shotty battery.
