Charging stops at 98%

I have two Nexus 7s, and both have a tendancy to stop charging at 98% but if I take them off the charger and check Settings/Battery it shows 100%.

Both work fine and I'm very pleased with battery life, so I assume there's no problem. However I'd be interested to know if anyone else sees this and if there's some trick to making them show as "Charged" when they're on the charger. The only similar hardware I have is a GNEX (with 4.2.1) and this does charge as expected.

Maybe your battery icons for 99% and 100% had gotten deleted , I currently own one but the charging icon has always been normal.

If anyone is interested, this is an effect of temperature. Because the wife objects to me littering the house with chargers I have to charge my N7s in the spare room, which is pretty cold at the moment. If I bring the charger into my study the N7 charges as expected. If I charge it in the spare room it halts at 98%.

Weird!
