I recently just upgraded to the note 3 frm the lg esteem. And if you know abt the esteem, then you know tht you have to charge the device every 10 minutes... I find myself doing tht with the note 3... With the acknowledgement tht it would last me throughout my whole day, i still find myself putting it bck on the charger @ 97%... I've taking medicine and even spoken to a psychiatrist... The lg esteem has ruined my mobile life forever.... Help me!!!! I need advice!!!!!

Even though I know my battery will last 2 days easily, I still charge it every night, just encase but @97% seems a tad over the top unless you can just eek out the phone for one day per full charge.

Just keep remembering - the longest battery lifespan is achieved by charging when the battery is down to 50%.

LOL!! Old habits die hard. If it's any help, I let mine go down to 15% before I put it on the charger- usually by that time I'm sleepy so it'll be fully charged when I wake up.

On another note- it doesn't take no time for it to fully charge.

Ignoring good practice not to completely drain the battery I have let my Note 3 shut off due to low power, plug it in, then it back on and have had it charge from zilch to 100% in slightly under 2 hours. I have yet to test it charging switched off. My guess is under an hour and a half.
