Help Charging the galaxy note with an iPad charger?

Hi

I got a galaxy note and its charging very slowly with the Samsung charger, Can I use the iPad charger + Samsung cable to charge it faster?I used to charge my iPhone faster with the iPad charger but not sure if the same would work with SamsungThe Samsung charger says "output : 5.0V - 1.0A"The iPad charger says "output : 5.1v- 2.1A"
Is 0.1 v more a problem?

i dont think the voltage is the problem, but twice the ampage is. Might eventually damage the battery.

It is pretty slow to charge, especially compared with my iPhone. That could go 0 to over 80% in less than an hour.

If I'm not mistaken, it's a 2500mah battery, so I would think it would take longer than other phones, which have like 1500-1800mah. Just a thought.

I used to charge my iphone with the ipad charger and i think it was less than 1 amp
this is disappointing
