charging times?

how long does it take to charge you galaxy 3? and does/did a firmware update improve things?

to give you an idea, my 2.1 i5800/apollo/3 can take 4 or 5 hours sometimes before it tells me to unplug the charger. if that is normal i can accept it, but coming from a nokia 5800 that would be full in under an hour it seems an awfully long time.
 
Mine takes about the same.

Coming from a 'normal' phone I was like you and quite worried for a start that it was taking so long.

Mine charges from 0% to 100% in about 2 hours, but discharges from 100% - 0% in about 24 hours. But I've found that if I leave it charge overnight I can then discharge for 36 hours? I think my phone is bugged telling me it's fully charged when it's not lol
