Help Charging when not pluged in?

My battery indicator has shown 100% for about 3 days now and is showing that it's plugged in and charging when its not...

I've plugged it in to charge threw the cradle, direct wall charger and even into a computer usb in hopes of unsticking it when unplugged. I've rebooted, removed the battery then rebooted,removed the SD card and rebooted...

Any other Ideas????

Clean the USB port?
Cut a Q-tip in half, smoosh it so it'll fit in there, use a little bit of alcohol.

I personally haven't tried this, but I've read about it with other devices and this has been suggested.

When I had this problem I just let the battery run out and I haven't had the problem since.

...and is it at 100%?? If so, then you might have some miraculous self-charging phone!
