Help charging while using

i was trying to figure out if its ok to use the tablet while its on the charger or is that bad for the battery or tablet or both. i got a great deal on a gtablet for my girl and she was using it while on the charger and i told her to stop. is that ok?

Generally speaking, it's better to charge then use, but if the gtablet has a Lithium Ion battery, it really won't make that much of a difference.
