Help Charging?

Yet another problem with this shinny new phone I'm wishing I never upgraded too...

Do you have to plug the phone into the computer you have PC companion installed on, to charge the device.

I've just plugged mine into my work desktop with the usb, it gave me a few choices as to what I wanted to do (I selected 'charge

Simple answer is no I use mine on tethering it charges while it in there and pc companion is not on my laptop.

Ha!

Seems the USB port was shot. Tried another one and it seems to have done the trick.

Now I need to appologise to my phone for all the nasty names I just called it....

Keep in mind that charging via usb into a pc is slower than with a wall charger.
