Charging

Have a random one about charging.

Is it better to charge the phone when the battery is nearing empty? does it matter to the battery life if you charge it at any level from time to time?

For Lithium-ion (which these phones use) it's better to keep them topped up. They don't suffer from memory issues like older Ni-Cd batteries do. If you are going to store the phone for a while it's best to keep it about 40% charged.

I normally charge once its down to 20%
Only time I charge when its around 40% is if I know Im going to be away from a charger for a while.

I have been looking around and people have said the phone charges from empty to full within 2-3 hours.

it was true for my first time charge, but i was charging my phone last night for about 6 hours from around 30% and it was still only 89% when i woke up in the morning.

I've just charged it for 2hours from 68% and it's still at 98%

Should i be concerned?
