I used a charger that was rated at 6 volts output on my tablet that requires 5 volts output. Tablet lit up saying it was charging, but after 20 mins approx it would not let me know if it was charging anymore. It never went on again. The battery at the time of this was almost dead. approx 8 to 10 percent left. I have since purchased and used the right charger for my Coby Kryos model 9742 DC in 5 volts. The inserted end of the charger will not go all the way into the female part to feel the "snap. connected feeling". the area of the plug in, in the back gets warm, but still no visual of it working or visual of it is charging. Did I damage this tablet. Approx charging time with the 6 volt charge is 20 mins.
