Same thing happens at some eye doctors(which I am). They have all these machines that "do something" to WOW you. Actually they refer to it AS the WOW factor. It gives the Dr no more functional information than without it but you think its something. You can see some distorted, discolored "photo" of the inside of the eye and think it's a miracle. But, in fact we see inside the eye better with ordinary instruments. But the fact YOU see something makes you think this is the first time someone has seen all this stuff in your eye..............A SUCKER IS BORN! And, of course it works.
