Help Charm???

What is this said charm thing, can you buy it? I just noticed it today in my menu and thats what made me start trolling the forums to see what in the hell it was lol.

It's a notification charm like the HTC Rhyme has. It works on the Rezound. I tried it. My daughter has a Rhyme. You can buy the charm on ebay. The one that comes with the Rhyme is purple but there may be other aftermarket ones in other colors.

A charm is a device that is designed to prematurely destroy the headphone jack of your phone. It works by dangling a lighting mechanism from a plug, which when inserted into the jack, will pull the plug off-axis and effectively ream out the insides if the jack. It is even more effective when the phone is placed inside a poorly organized receptical filled with hazerdous objects, such as a purse, and the charm is allowed to dangle out through the opening. Here, the charm may become lodged in between the seat belt of a swerving, erratically stopping car and the driver and/or her makeup kit. The constant tugging is capable of producing enough pull on the jack to remove all contacts from within the phone's jack. Charms are also used as a means of retrieving a phone from a purse, handbag, diaper bag, stroller, or makeup case. However, the initial bite which the phone jack latches onto the charm's plug is not always enough to keep it secured during retrevial (see also "phone fishing"), especially if the charm has been used for more than one day.

Charms are also known for lighting up when the phone rings, which may alert the owner that her boyfriend is trying to call her to find out when the help he should expect her home. They have not been very effective for this purpose.
