Which chat clients use data and not sms? Thanks in advance

Is this for IM (Yahoo, MSN, AIM, GTalk, Facebook, etc)?

I believe they all use data. At least I know that these ones do: Meebo, eBuddy, Google Talk, AIM, Palringo, Nimbuzz.

All of those that Silver mentioned should use data rather than text. The only thing that should use SMS is your SMS texts. You can get around that (kinda) with Google Voice, since I know VZ likes to get an arm and a leg for text messages.
