Help Cheap Andriod Housing Build?

Hello! About almost a year ago I damaged the home and menu buttons on my Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, I dont want to spend the money on a new phone at the moment, but its bugging me, I would like to make some simple hardware mods to the phone and I have some hardware experiance, how hard would it be to take the functional part of the phone, make a new housing, and hook up something to the analogs for the home and menu buttons -- would you recomend it, and if so how?

Thank you! :-)

P.s I am having some trouble getting the conformation email for this website. I hope people can see this :( if anyone could help with that it would be nice :)

Yup we see you.
Why not buy a bricked (irreparably software damaged) s3 mini from eBay or something and swap the innards?

Won't work. The system won't have the hardware drivers for the hardware you plan to install. You need to get the same thing. The problem here is that the menu button is part of thr display assembly.

So yeah, funky's suggestion is the best choice here. Your motherboard is ok, so get a bricked s3 mini off eBay with a fried motherboard and swap the display assemblies.
