Accessories Cheap chargers from China

Recently we bought really cheap chargers from China. I haven't seen any recent posts on this topic, so I thought I would share my experiences and hopefully find out if these are not good to use.
First off, I noticed that I am unable to use my phone while they are plugged in to these charges. I can not even unlock the screen. If I receive a call or text I have to unplug first. Secondly, it charges SUPER slow. Sometimes, even after having it plugged in all night it's not 100% charged. Third, it has woken me up in the middle of the night playing videos I had previously recorded.
It is doing this all on it's own. Even accessing my email at times.
All I can picture is a little Chinese dude at a computer hacking into all of my personal stuff. Is that at all possible?
Could this be harming my phone at all or adding viruses?

anything is possible with technology these days, i would for one try different steps.

1.) Try a different charger, if the problems stop, then give the seller a bad review.
2.) Try a different charger, if the problems continue, factory data reset, then try again, if it stops, give seller a bad review, if it continues it might be something else entirely, and then we can proceed further with how to sbf your phone (flashing the stock OS back overtop of it)(*DOES NOT REQUIRE ROOT*)
3.) Contact the seller about the situation
4.) Try the charger on another phone, and see if the problem follows

What we ordered and received were "travel charges" with separate USB cords. Turns out it's the actual charger and not the cord that's the problem. I tried the cords with other charges we already had and it worked fine. The output for both of those were .7A and 850mA. For the charger from China the output was 500mA. Thank you for both of your helpful responses. Now I know what to look for!
 
i think china uses difference watts than we do, we burn through electricity, whereas europeans and asians, do not.

It has nothing to do with the country. The base current output from USB is 500 mAh. To get a faster charge on the bigger batteries, they up the current. Cheap chargers bet on the fact that most people don't know that. Never but a charger unless it is specified.
