Cheap Sport Cars? 2008-2011 advice please

My buddy had a 2nd gen MR2 turbo and that thing was amazing. It pulled so hard off the line even with the turbo and handled like it was on rails. Ridiculous

It was an incredibly fun car. It's probably what got me interested in modding. As fun as it was, it doesn't even compare to my WRX, even before mods.

Well I really want a honda civic...but i think im changing the price to $4000 thats all i can afford at the moment lol
