I want to create an array of individually addressable squares. Rather than fabricating a bunch of stuff in our clean room, I am thinking about taking apart an LCD screen. The thought being that I can strip off the polarizers and liquid crystals to expose the fully wired array in your cell phone. I wanted to use a cell phone because the grid is smaller. I was thinking about an android phone because there is a fantastic developer community.
I wanted to get your thoughts on this.
