I signed up. It assigned me some random display name. I had to change that on the desktop site because apparently I can't access my profile from the mobile app. Look for IHateMyTreo!

My 150 by 150 avatar here was too large. It accepted it when I resized it to 100 by 100
I can resize anything without issue, OB, but I'm not spending the rest of my time being known as suitable camel.

I know that not everyone cares for the Facebook crap but I belong to one group there that I was able to make a shortcut to, on my home screen, bypassing all the crap I don't care for.
I don't care for it either. I don't plan on participating there unless forced and then I hope we decide on a place that we are all comfortable with.

Since the early bird site is not working, or hardly working at all, I've gone over to the Reddit thread but it's only Grumpy Grandpa and me. Where's everybody else?
I really don't like Reddit so it would be a last case scenario for me.

Presumably someone unplugged it for 10 seconds and plugged it back in. Or, maybe it just sorted itself.
Unfortunately I already see it getting slow again.
As for the site itself going forward, it doesn't seem that management is very engaged at this point as evidenced by both the frequent server issues and the now-ancient content on the front page.

The Early Bird site, at least for me, takes about a minute to respond or refresh. Does everyone experience this excruciatingly painful delay? If so, it is so disappointing to see what was a vibrant site go into such decline and disrepair.

I'm afraid we all suffer the sad state of the forums. I bug Nightangel and he has means to bug Rob. Sometimes it does some good and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know if the host site gives a care and it is certainly not a priority of Rob's
