I bought a new SG3 from Rogers today and wanted to be able to use it with other carriers and wasn't sure if it was locked or not. I am pretty sure it is but I want to make sure before I attempt to unlock it. I have read on several threads to do this I would enter in the code: *#7465625# but nothing happens when I do this. It just sits there and the screen doesn't change. I also read that for newer versions of Android this code might not work. I was wondering if anyone knew the new code to check lock status? I understand I could check tomorrow with a friend's SIM from another carrier but I would like to try to do without and get it done tonight.
