Checking order status

I ordered one 16gb then decided to cancel it and order the 16gb+case. My first attempt to cancel resulted in an automated phone call that quickly ended while pulling down the keyboard to type a key and with me wondering if it was cancelled. Days later and over the weekend, I cancelled again, but this time via email. Days later I was happy to see a cancellation.

That list is in reverse chronological order, i.e. the top = the newest. So everyone starts with this when they place an order:
"You placed an order with Google Commerce Ltd on 27 Jun. Google Wallet sent a copy of this receipt to XXX"
As soon as you palce the order, google try to place a pending charge on your card. (You won't be charged until it ships, but the pending charge stops you spending the money accidentally). It looks like that failed several times, so most likely the card details were out of date and the card had expired. That's why you see an error message for each time they tried to charge the card.
Then at the top (and most recent) you've got:
"[SIZE=+1]Thanks for updating your payment information![/SIZE]
Your order will be charged and shipped by Google Inc.. Jul 5
Google Inc. received your order. Jul 5
You successfully updated your payment for this order to bla bla bla. Jul 5"
So it looks like your Gramda updated her card details in google wallet, meaning they could place that pending charge. Now that google know that there is enough money in the account, they've accepted the order and will ship it when it is ready

Yeah, I think the big bold sentance is your order status. It seems to reflect the most recent update on your order.

So you can see in the second it goes: (1) Order placed, email sent, (2) Company X has recieved your order, then (3) Your card has been charged. Then presumably there will be a (4) Your device has been shipped, but then I've never bought a physical product using wallet before.

Just go to Google Play in a browser, at the bottom of the page it says something like my orders.
