Child location reporting Application

I am a father worried about the safety of my kid. I have purchased an Android based phone for my son. I want an application that can periodically (refresh rate can be set) send the co-ordinates of my son through SMS to my mobile number. Thanks in advance.

"GPS Friend Finder" might be a good app for you to use. Users can authorize other users to track their location. Look it up in Google Play.

Life360 is a pretty good app I use.

Supports most any phone, iPhone, Android, even standard phones.

Shows locations of entire family on the map and updates approximately every 15minutes I think.
