Child proof phone

Hi all,

My daughters are forever taking my phone to play with and downloading games etc. This isfine but it does limit what apps I can put on my phone. Does anyone know of any apps I can get whereby it will give me the function to hide apps and have a password to access them?

I found these two on AndroLib, both give you the option password protect apps:

App Protector Lite v1.3 Trial Version wi Application for Android | Tools (Lite version of a paid app).

I've never used them so I can't say how good they are.

Hi Xyro, cheers for this, I am using app protector and it does work so they cannot open the app, only thing is they can still see the app. Ideal would like something that also hides the app in the main program window. Am I asking for to much

They are certainly plenty of apps that will hide contacts, texts and calls (from the eyes of your significant other ), but I couldn't find any to actually hide apps.

Maybe you'd be better off asking in the Android Applications section of the forum, rather than just asking us lot.

I know this is an older thread but it looks like Hide It Pro can hide apps, as well as pictures and a bunch of other stuff. I use the free version for hiding pictures that are not quite safe for kids because my daughter does take my phone sometimes.
