Chinese Android 4.0 tablet

Pridi16

Lurker
I live in Thailand and recently purchased an inexpensive (US$180) 8' Aigo android 4.0 tablet, manufactured in China.
Had a bit of difficulty downloading apps at first but a firmware update corrected the problem. I've been using the device for two weeks now and so far it has been pretty decent. Only time will tell if the manufacturing quality is up to long term use.
My only real complaint is the on screen keyboard is dismal; very small keys with no separation between them leading to many errors. I want to install a different keyboard and see some keyboard apps on the market but I'm not sure how to install permanently. One complicating factor is I need a keyboard that supports Thai script as well as English.
Any tips or suggestions??
Thanks
David
