Chinese head unit update

I'm trying to find updates for my head unit, either firmware or Android (currently Android 8)

I also cannot reset to factory settings because it needs a code which I don't have.

Its slow, freezes everytime I use it and I'm ready to smash it up.

I will attach the spec as shown using Aida64 and hopefully someone can identify what I'm looking for and point me in the right direction.

why do you need to update it? this will always be the case with cheap, chinese crap devices.

Any updates would need to come from the manufacturer, as there's no third-party development for this particular device... i.e. no devs = no fun. And as Le ceased their hardware business a couple of years ago, there's absolutely no chance of any support and/or updates . They now only do online TV and movie streaming for the China market. http://www.le.com/

If you want an update, you'll be buying a new head unit for your car, that's it.

NO updates for your device, but LeTV can stream you a news report about the prison policy of the Chinese Communist Party.

The specs (memory and storage space) seem decent for your head unit. Can you access the standard android settings menu? Go to storage and clear the apps cache and any apps you want to remove would be good. That would speed it up a bit. Also looking at your specs it's only a dual core so it would be deemed as old unfortunately. So the processor might not be up to the task and installing / updating apps on it will slow it right down.
