chinese tablet android 4.0.3

Hi I have a chinese tablet stuck on the android logo screen it was 4.0.3 i have tried the holding down buttons but it wont reset. some one told me to flash it but i dont know what software to get. Any help would be great.

You have to get hold of the software provided by the manufacturer of your tablet, and reload it, flash it. What's actually happened your tablet is bricked and unbootable because the software ROM has become corrupted or damaged. Unfortunately it's a rather frequent occurrence with these cheap tablets and phones.

Here's the problem with these Chinese devices. Often there is no way to actually identify what company made it. and even when you can, there is little or no information or software available anyway, or it's only in Chinese.

Is there anything on the tablet itself or instructions or packaging, that might identify a manufacturer and/or model number, apart from the usual "Android Tablet. Made in China" .
