ChompSMS and SMS announcements

Not sure if this is an Android setting or a ChompSMS setting but does anyone know how to turn off the voice announcement when I receive a txt message?

It doesn't seem to be tied to the volume rocker as I still get announcements when set to completely mute.

In Android: Menu> settngs> Text-to-speech> Driving Mode> uncheck. Not sure about the SMS app you are using though, I have no experience with it.
