ChompSMS: Something preventing texts on lock screen?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to troubleshoot this issue and since I'm relatively new to Android I'm hoping you can help me out. I've just upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S4. I've used Handcent on my work phone but due to quick compose issues I've found Chomp and really like it.

One of the only problems I'm having with Chomp however is that the lockscreen popup reply notifications aren't working. When I receive a text the phone screen will turn on and sometimes I can see the message scroll in the notification area... but no popup. I've confirmed that the setting is on. I'm presently using Nova Launcher though I've tested this with TouchWiz and still nothing.

Is there anything that would be conflicting with this causing messages to not load on the lock screen?

It won't scroll if the lock screen security is on. I've seen this on my phone as well. Once the pattern or pin lock activates (I've set it to 5min after screen off), the message won't scroll. If there is no secure lockscreen, it shows up.
