Ok everyone. I seem to be having an issue. I absolutely love chompsms. I set it as the default. Then i go to the stock messenger and clear cache. Once i do that it works fine. I also make sure the notifications is off of the stock messenger. The issue is when i restart the phone for some reason the stock app notifications turn back on but the default is still chompsms. Anyone else have this issue and find a way to fix this? I wish i could disable the stock messenger like i could with my droid mini but it wont let me on this phone. Its greyed out. Its very annoying.
 
anyone else having this issue? i am really hoping that this would be fixed or a way to fix.
 
what kind of issues and do u find that it turns notifications back on?
 
after some research and testing I have found out it to be chompsms. I am now using textra and it works great.
 
well spoke to soon. restarted the phone and did it again. I had the notifications turned off for the stock messenger and after the restart they turned back on and showed all messages recieved. the wierd thing is that textra still shows as the default. still recieving multiple notifications after restart. had to go back in to the stock messenger settings and turn them off again. this does this only on all restarts. is this a lg g2 bug?
