Choosing a gallery app

Should be easy, but I'm not getting anywhere!

What I would like is:

* nested albums (folders!)

* really use EXIF data (I have captions in there!)

* not try to show every thumbnail or even album on the starting screen

* something like photostreams so a picture can be in more than one

I don't care about connecting to picasa or flikr or anything, don't need clever editing, I do that elsewhere.

TIA

I'm in the same boat, desperately need a viewer that will slideshow photo's in the order / time, they where taken. Nothing worse in viewing a folder full of photos in the wrong order. Surely somebody has written an App that reads the time stamp on the EXIF data, I have looked and tried a few with no avail.
Quite happy to pay for the privilege :(

EXIF is not just the date. Soma apps do that, I think, but that's not what I'm looking for. I want photos displayed with my captions, which are in the EXIF. The ideal is that you can just pick the EXIF fields you want.

As a work-around you could access and browse/view/edit the photos that are on your laptop or desktop machine back home remotely, on your phone or tablet, with the free Teamviewer app. Also available in the Play store.
(This is where my Samsung Galaxy Note's 5,3" screen and S-pen shine! :D )

Very convenient for helping out friends and relatives with computer problems too. Saves me oodles of time! And usually gets them unstuck within the hour, instead of at the earliest tomorrow when you can fly by for 10 minutes (which you know is going to run at least an hour because you can't refuse that beer without insulting him/her... yada, yada, yada; you know how it goes).

I seem to recall that "Fish Bowl" does this.

No, tried it - you can put in titles and descriptions, but I want to use the ones that are already there in the EXIF.

How about it, some developer, put in a option to say "use this EXIF field as a caption". Please.
