Choppy video playback.

I just got the new Note 2 a few days ago and all the videos I try to play back on it have terrible resolution. I have tried it using 4g as well as wifi and both are horrible pictures. I have tried small youtube videos and the picture is still terrible. The only way it works is if I try to watch a movie on netflix, after about 30 minutes the picture slowly starts to get better till the picture is somewhat normal. When I first start it the picture is almost unrecognizable. It does get better but never gets that great. Just wondering why this is and if there is any fix? Also, my pin lock screen function is not working. I go to enter my pin so my screen will lock, then enter it again. Then I let the screen timeout then go to get back into it and it is still on swipe mode and I never have to type in my pin to unlock the screen. I have tried it many times and cannot get it to work.

Haven't heard of this. All my videos play great with no choppiness at all! Sorry to hear you are having issues.

I would get that phone returned. Mine plays everything including full HD movies (4gb files) without dropping a frame, and in stunning picture quality.

Depending on what coverage i have 4g/LTE/wifi my phone is usually really great when playing videos. I do notice that when I only have 4g the quality is low for about 5-10 seconds then clears up.
