Choppy video screen

My new Winnovo T10 screen is choppy in videos. Can't watch netflix or youtube.
Suggestions are appreciated.

choppy? was it always like this? after an update maybe? if anything try a factory reset. if that does not work then i'm not sure what else you can try, other then never buy an off brand device again. or at least lower your expectations on quality.

Choppy video when watching streaming content is often due to the online connection, not the device.
If you had a really dated tablet that 'might' be an issue because of hardware limitations in video playback but yours is pretty adequate:
https://www.reviews-tablet.com/2019-winnovo-t10-10-inch-android-tablet/
Streaming video services like Netflix and Youtube also include auto-detect functionality in the user-end connectivity so unless you've intentionally set them to watch 4K streams or above, they should be compensating the content to reduce buffering on-the-fly.
Using a browser app, go to:
https://fast.com
and click on the 'Show more info' button. What are the resulting Download and Latency (loaded) numbers?
Also, are you having this problem during certain times or is it always occurring?
If using WiFi, are there other people in this household also online around the same time? Or is this when you're using mobile data (cellular)?

Welcome to Android Forums, Deb65! :)
Sorry I'm not that savvy with it. the os is google so i use that to go to netflix etc.
It's okay that you're not too tech savvy. We'll help you sort things out. :D

What we need to know is what software you're using to watch videos.

Your OS is Android--which comes from Google. Google also provides many apps, such as the de facto browser on Android devices, Chrome, the Google app itself, and the YouTube app.

Then there are third-party apps, such as this one from Netflix.

If you can tell us--or show us with screenshots--what you're using to actually access/watch videos, we'll be better able to help. What icon do you press to watch videos?

Thanks to everyone who answered. Apparently it's a dud. Tried everything including factory reset. Sending it back.

Assuming your tablet is the problem could be a mistake. If it is an issue with your broadband connection or your mobile data (cellular) connection, it makes no difference what device you're using, streaming content will still be a matter of lots of buffering.
