Root chopshop - deodex with aokp files.

OK. I downloaded aokp 4.4.4 nightly for the note 3. Gonna see if I can chopshop my stock ROM with a few things. If it comes out well, I will make a band of the system partition and upload it for everyone to try out.

I am on metro PCs stock 4.4.4 BTW if that means anything.

This will take a bit. The issue with the stock ROM is getting the is to run smoothly under all conditions.

The main problem is the thermal throttle. Once you hit 140 degrees it starts down clocking your CPU to 300 MHz. This makes things difficult with the aokp files.

Does AOKP use the cm11 theme engine?
I can use hkthemer if it doesn't... Thats nothing.....
Will it include the stock camera?...

I got used to lollipop... But, although it's a awful comparison..... KK is to Honda (high Rev, staying power, versatility) .. As LP is to Dodge (grunt,gas hog,polished turd)....

@CYCONUMNUM no no. Lol. I am not compiling aokp. Good god I wish I could.

I am just taking files from aokp and adding them into the stock ROM. This is a dirty way to convert to aokp it is possible.

Dirty edits are the only way I can do this. The issue is de odexing the ROM without a computer to use.

This could also result in issues such as the ROM screwing IP like the pacrom 4.4.4 that we have. But I plan on doing lots of testing and work on it.

@hroark13 I need a favor man. Make a kernel for 4.4.4 stock that is a duplicate of the cm rc5 kernel.

The cm rc 5 kernel allows the option of actually disabling the thermal throttle. Which is something we all need.
