Spend a huge time with my sister, and her hubby, and her hubby's mother, we had lunch and just play card games..
I just feel like I spend an eternity with her..

We had a fun Christmas day. It was way laid back and no time was placed on anything. Just go with the flow and enjoy. We have a lot of snacks left but it's not like I'll have to eat turkey for a week. I hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as I. Merry Christmas!

Hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas.

The Boss Lady and I had to skip the dinner with my in-laws today because she has a nasty cold. She has her surgery coming up and didn't want to either pass on her cold or pick up anything from the rest of the family.
So it's just been the two of us all day.

Today has been kind of a slog, just kind of going all day, but it was fun to see everyone, the wife didn't nag me while company was here, the food all tasted great and I cleaned up the pots and pans and serving dishes and all such while my wife talked with her mom (who she found out had been staying up waiting for my wife's call).
The rest of the dishes etc. are in the dishwasher and I sat down and enjoyed a final glass of wine after all the work (I also had one with dinner).

All in all, I'm exhausted, but it's a good exhausted.

I would love to say I plan to sleep in tomorrow, but it's trash day, so the procession of large trucks will probably start around 6:30 or maybe 7 if we're lucky.

Yesterday was another Christmas spent at some random truck stop. This year I was in Washington state. I slept most of the day.

I appreciate what you do, @joe71 - I can't say it often enough, but you make the economy move by moving the things we buy. Between missing holidays while on the road and having to deal with idiots in cars (who don't realize the interstate system is for long-haul trucks and interstate commerce, we just borrow it), I have a great deal of respect and regard for you.

I highly respect those who are semi workers like our @joe71 here, I have met a few people around here who are well respected throughout the community too, and have to put up with barking dogs too, aye that must of be a headache for you.

On topic:
I got a new ear, nose hair clipper I aboslutely adore been using it for at least six trimmings, it is really amazing and it does not do much harm to my face.
Also got a google play card from my buddy, who is dating my mother like forever, and I get to watch Twisted Metal, Nightmare before xmas, as well as Batman year one and 9 (movie that is also directed by Tim Burton, I had it on blu ray, but my ps3 did not work around with the blu ray system update, so I cannot watch any of my blu rays grr.. ) That was worth the wait, been so many years since I have seen 9.
