Chrome as My Default Browser

Is the a way to make Chrome my default browser on my Verizon S3 (not rooted)?

When you click on a link it should give you all available options. Choose chrome and then "Always" instead of "Just Once"

When you click on a link and the phone asks which program to open it with select chrome and always.

Thanks, I had Dolphin as my default browser so I was not getting the prompt but I cleared the Dolphin default and then got the prompt so Chrome is now my default browser, thanks for the help.

Now is there any way to have Chrome open up sites in the "desktop" mode as the default rather having to change it in the "setting"?
