am I missing something? why cant i from cast from the chrome app on Android?specifically the Nexus 7.
 
You can only cast from the chrome browser on a PM or Mac currently. Hopefully this feature is added to the chrome app someday, but based on what I've seen, it takes a lot of processing power to do it on a PC, so not sure if tablets and phones will be able to handle it. Hope this helps. :)
 
I have been able to chromecast Netflix and Youtube from my LG 769 Android phone, but I can't figure out how to cast a tab from the phone's chrome browser. Help would be appreciated.

Casting tabs from a chrome browser on my PC works great.
