I have started collecting .APKs for the apps I use.
The rationale is that, in event of a undesireable "Upgrade" or some device mishap, I can revert to a known version via side-loading from the saved .APK.
In the case of Chrome, I keep reading user complaints about recent versions being slow. Personally, this is not a big problem with me, but I figure that, as long as I am going to the trouble of squirreling away my own copy, it might as well be one that is noticibly faster than the v30-something that I have now.
Does anybody have a version that they particularly prefer and a download link to .APK for same?
