Chrome update?

Have you updated Chrome lately?
Does it still work? Do I dare to let my Galaxy S3 4G do the update?

On my computer (and obviously I'm not alone) it doesn't work (pages - even settings pages - open only within about 10 seconds from starting. After that nothing opens) and there is a discussion on Google Chrome group about the problem.

There is a workaround: Running chrome as admin...

Installed it couple of hours ago...
Although had to go via "Browser_UC Browser for Android"
because that was available at Samsung's. Somehow
"play google" didn't work when Chrome was the only browser and it didn't work.
(I guess automagic update...)

And with my Windows machine, I went for Opera.

The last chrome for Android update was in January 16, 2014 (unless I'm missing something?). I installed it at that time and had no problems. There were a few posts with questions about slightly different ways to do things but no major problems.

I got notification yesterday on my phone, and a few days ago my PC updated (33.0.1750.117 m)

I think the new version was released February 21 or 20, 2014.
