No. Maybe with some modifying possibly and running chromebook in dev mode.
I have been able to sucessfully usb tether using the built in usb tethering that comes with the HTC Inspire (i assume all htc sense based phones have this?) I am rooted with custom roms (cause im to cheap to pay for tethering) and worked perfectly, I assume this would work with any 2.2+ device since native usb tethering is supported.
Did the above on my cr-48
