Accessories Circle case and Daydream clock

I use the dimmed Daydream clock display when my phone is on charge overnight next to my bed. I've just got a circle case for my phone, and sat it on the wireless charger.

Is there any way to get a dimmed digital display in the circle of the case? If not I'm going to have to bend the front cover back overnight, which I'm sure won't do it much good.
