Class Action Lawsuit Needed!

I have a 3 month old SGS and it won't work anymore. After looking around the net, I realize it's the dead internal memory issue so many people are having. Because I'm not the original owner Samsung says, sorry but you're f*cked. There is also the lag issue and the GPS issue people are having with the SGS.

I for one am sick and tired of spending my hard earned cash for an item that is crap. Look around you and see what you have that does not work as well as it should. Why do we have to spend money for products that are not designed well? Why spend money for products that die after 3 or 4 months?

Cell phone manufacturers are in such a hurry to cash in on the smart-phone boom that they come out with products that do not meet customers expectations or for that matter, work at all. The iPhone 4 is one that comes to mind. Apple didn't recall the phones, they just gave out cheap covers to hide the problem, not solve it. They knew bout the problem all along, that's why they had an answer to the problem as soon as it was reported.

I want to see about starting a class action lawsuit against Samsung. Does anyone know how or where to start?

While I personally think it is a waste o time, someone posted a link in the captivate forum awhile back to a US lawyer looking for people to establish a class for such a suit.

I think the failure rate has to be huge like Xbox 360's RROD problem which was like 54% before Samsung will do anything, if.

Then again the iPhone 4 antenna issue isn't that bad, unless you squeeze the phone covering the black bits, you'll lose connection, it takes around 2 minutes for the signal to drop on my iPhone 4 when holding the iPhone with covering the black bits.

The Galaxy S can't be that bad, can it??
I really wanted it but everyone here put me off it with their negativity and problems. If Samsung update it to 2.3 and fix everything, it'll be the best phone on the market.

Internal memory issue?? I haven't even heard of this one?

Never mind then. People are more interested in complaining than doing something about it. Go through this forum and see how many people are complainging about their phones.

I'm gone.

if you want a class action suit, check the problems of the new subscribers and owners of ATT using the samsung captivate...the data usage on that one is ridiculous!!!!

2.2 update fixed GPS issues for me.

The lag issue is very much something which bothers some and not others. Did Samsung ever mislead you into thinking the phone would be smooth as silk? I don't really think my phone lags, it does sometimes slow down, but i'm pretty much aware that i'm doing lots at once when it does that.

But the memory issue? That's new to me, that could be something to kick up a fuss, *if* it really was a problem with many handsets.

I've never heard of that either.

Common problem with Nokias though, after they've been dropped. The internal memory button-battery tends to fall off the circuit board when the phone is impacted.

As for the OPs other issues, not got them at all with Froyo.
