Clean desktop icons

Hey,

Is there a way to make all the icons dissapear from my desktop with a single app? Think Camouflage for Mac (http://bit.ly/icmbac). I'm thinking something you can activate, it removes all your icons, you activate it again, they reapear.

Any ideas?
If it doesn't exsist, you should totally make it! yeah! you! and for free too!

I'm not sure what the purpose of that would be, but HTC Sense has saved Themes. So you could just save your setup, and switch to a blank theme, and then switch back...

how about clearing the download history, i understand it was a choice is 2.1 but dissappeared in 2.2!
