Help Clean Master - Factory Reset

I am using a Glaxy Note 3 (4.4.2 installed) phone is unlocked and is currently on the Three network. I had been using Clean Master for a couple of months now. Today I tried to use it to delete a couple of old photos from my phone but unfortunately when i did so it froze for nearly an hour with just the message "deleting" showing. I eventually had to remove the battery in order to be able to use the phone.

When i restarted a number of problems occured:

Most Google Services Stopped
Phone was incredibly sluggish
I couldnt remove any apps (phone would freeze when i got into the App section within Settings.
If i restarted phone it would freeze completely and have to have the battery removed to restart.
Wifi would only work intermittently.

Having given up on the thing i felt there was no other choice but a factory reset. So I went into recovery mode and deleted the cache and then carried out the factory reset. This however did not seem to resolve the problem. When carrying out the set up the wifi will go on and off, the phone is sluggish, the google services tv, play etc. I thought it may have needed me to carry out an update to the system, however when i go into settings and click Check Update it does nothing and then settings closes down.

Any suggestions?

I can't solve your problem, sorry for that. But I will warn anybody using cleanmaster. A total deceiving application. It caused a big problem for me once by deleting my backups in my SD card. Why should it delete something on my sd card? Do anybody not know what is on their sd cards? Just to deceive you they will bring a big list to be cleaned even not mentioning where the files are located.
So please don't use these apps.
