Clean the registry

I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 android phone. I have had it for a year now. It seems to be slowing down. I think the registry needs to be clean. What app can I add to clean the registry and other files so the phone will speed up?

There is no Registry in Android; that is a Windows thing. However, if you upgrade your OS to 4.3, it has TRIM support, which will do what you want.
